What kind of barbecues will you clean?

We clean both built-in barbecues and rolling propane barbecues. We also clean both wood and charcoal barbecues, including smokers.

What brands do you clean?

Our service providers clean all makes and models of barbecues – from extremely high-end units to ones purchased at hardware stores like Home Depot and Lowes models.

How much does grill cleaning cost?

We offer 4 types of BBQ cleaning services and pricing varies on your BBQ condition and size. See the pricing page for more details on pricing.

How frequently do you recommend your services?

We recommend at the bare minimum that BBQ cleaning be done once a year. However, a lot of it depends on how often you like to use your grill. We have BBQ cleaning maintenance plans for monthly, quarterly and bi-yearly cleaning. These plans are discounted off our regular pricing and contain perks. See the maintenance plans page for more details. , but for most users, we recommend our deep cleaning service once every 18 months and our basic maintenance service every 3 to 6 months.

How does grill cleaning protect my grill?

Barbecues are expensive, and if not maintained, they will more easily break down, corrode and rust. Think of all those burnt pieces of meat that have fallen through the grates. Dirty BBQ’s also can grow mold and attract rodents. Old grease and dirt that is built up that can clog your burners and cause other issues including grease fires. BBQ cleaning can protect your investment and prolongs the life of your grill while also giving you a cleaner and more hygienic way of grilling.

How long will it take to have my barbecue cleaned?

Professional BBQ cleaning is a time consuming, difficult and dirty job so how long we take will depend on the services you order and the size of your grill. Most of our services take between 2 and 5 hours.

What if I’m not sure if I should get a new BBQ or if it should be replaced?

We can discuss this with you on the phone. We may request that you send us some pictures of the grill. If we are still unsure, one of our technicians will come to your home and provide you with a consultation. If you need to replace your grill, we can help you with this.

Will cleaning my grill create a mess?

Our technicians take great care in keeping the area around the grill clean. We use drop cloths, have our own trash can and carry a vacuum. We also use a steam cleaner, which produces hot heat with a very small amount of water.

Do I need to be home to have my grill cleaned?

Our technicians will give you a 20 to 30 minute heads-up text prior to their arrival. If you cannot meet us, you may provide instructions on how to enter your backyard.

What type of cleaners do you use?

Inside your BBQ we use a high foaming, high pH solution that breaks up grease and gives your grill the cleaning you need without the use of harmful chemicals. Our de-greaser breaks down oils, biofilms, grease, proteins and carbohydrate deposits and is 100% Bio-degradable. On the outside of your grill we use a high quality stainless steel polish to give your BBQ an awesome shine.

Will my BBQ look brand new after a cleaning?

You will get a clean BBQ and most of our customers have their expectations exceeded and are blown away with the results of our BBQ cleaning service but no company can truthfully guarantee your grill will look brand new after a cleaning.

Every BBQ is different with several variables that can affect how well your grill will look after a cleaning. For example, depending on age and the quality stainless steel grade used by your BBQ manufacturer there may be deep stains and rust that nothing can remove.

We primarily focus attention on the areas that matter most and including the areas where food comes in contact with your grill. If your grates are rusted we do recommend replacing the grates or our grate restoration service which allows us to dedicate up to 80 minutes using an expensive rust abrasive tool that will leave your grates looking and feeling smooth. In some cases the original shine of stainless steel grates is mostly restored when using our this special tool.

We will scrape, clean and vacuum the bottom of your BBQ box but due to time the bottom area of your BBQ may still contain patches, marks, stains and other other scuffs. For most customers, it is unnecessary to have an entire BBQ detailed in every nook and cranny in areas that come in no contact with your food but if you are interested in this type of service our BBQ restoration services which includes up to 7 hours of deep cleaning may be for you. Please call us to discuss available scheduling for a BBQ restoration cleaning. Alternatively, if a BBQ is cleaned and maintained regularly this allows for quicker cleaning allowing us to perform deeper cleaning in hard to reach areas.
